The Premier, Historic Bed and Breakfast Experience on Whidbey Island


All reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. We can not take walk-ins or same-day arrivals.

For all new reservations (After April 15, 2020):  Cancel anytime with no penalty up to 48 hours prior to arrival.

For all reservations booked prior to April 15, 2020:  Deposits for any cancellation prior to 48hrs will be refunded, less a fee of $25/room, per night.

For all Reservations:  Final payment is charged 48hrs prior to arrival, and is non-refundable. All guests are offered flexible self check-in, and we are available to assist as needed. All guests have self check-out.

Bed and Breakfast

The Blue Goose Inn Bed and Breakfast is Coupeville’s only historic, premier lodging experience on beautiful Whidbey Island, in Puget Sound, Washington.

The lovingly restored historic home that comprises the Blue Goose Inn is an ornament of Victorian beauty, matching in both nostalgia and charm while providing every modern amenity.

Breakfast Service

When you add breakfast, you’ll be treated to a wide range of hot gourmet breakfasts made from scratch with fresh, local ingredients. The table setting includes homemade syrups, jams and baked goods along with fresh ground coffee from local roasters, selection of teas and fresh juice of your choice.

Bald Eagle at Ebey’s Landing

Enjoy the majestic beauty of nature on display at Ebey’s Landing whether you prefer bird watching or whale watching. Coupeville is a great location to see a wide variety of birds, sea life as well as the friendly deer.

Sail Boat Racing in Penn Cove

Summertime brings out the sail boats on Penn Cove. Sailing lessons and kayak rentals are available, as well as private cruises from the Coupeville Wharf. Several classes of sail boats compete during Race Week in mid-July.

Admiralty Head Lighthouse at Fort Casey State Park

Coupeville is the center of Ebey’s Landing National Historic Reserve and is the home of over 300 of the oldest buildings in Washington state. The historic Admiralty Head Lighthouse at Ft. Casey was first built in 1890, many buildings date back to 1850s.
